Looking for feedback on my PC parts

I last build a PC in 2012 and recently decided it was time to invest in a more upgraded gaming rig capable of VR gaming if i decide to pursue it in the future. I've been kinda out of the electronics world so I was hoping to get some feedback on my parts list. I don't plan to run dual GPU and don't plan to upgrade any parts any further after the initial purchase but have had the desire to overclock the rig down the road so I wanted to have my parts be prepared for that. I also do plan to install fans throughout the case and have been looking into a fan controller but again know very little about them(so if you have any input about those please let me know)
I do appreciate all comments and assistance! I feel like my choices are giving me my most bang for my buck but I know there are folks out there more knowledgeable than I about the components

1.I was torn between the i7 7700k and the i5-7600k...went with 7600k due to cheaper price and not huge differences between the two chips
2. I know very little about liquid cooling and about aftermarket coolers in general as i've never purchased one. I went with the H5 after reading some positive feedback on a few different sites.
3. I definitely liked the way the mark1 MOBO looked in different builds and it seems to have everything i'd need as well. Was torn between this and the Hero VIII and IX also.
4. I know i didn't go top of the line here but I chose these sticks based on how well they should perform and hoping they will look good in the case.
5. New type of storage that I know little about other than what i've researched. I chose it because it seems to be top of the line and should be more than enough storage for my games and windows.
6. I was torn between the 1080 and the 1070 and decided to splurge on the 1080 hoping i am getting a little more for my money and futureproofing myself some.
7. I liked the reviews of the case, I think it looks good and I love the removeable dust filters
8. As always with PSU I never know exactly what I need. I was torn between the G2, G3 and the P2 units and chose the 650 G3 over the 750 P2 soley based on price. I felt the small difference between price of the G2 and G3 was work paying a tad more for the smaller unit.

Everything still top notch, managed to put a 7700k in it for less money. Only tradeoff was a sata SSD instead of your m2

So you're thinking dropping the m2 drive and going to regular SSD and upgrading to the i7 would give me more for $30 less? I was thinking the speed of the m2 would offset it not the other way around...

Honestly the m2 is kinda cool, but the real performance difference is neglible In the real world on consumer tasks. The gq power supply is about as good as the g2/3.

Basically you'll give up nothing for an i7 I'd call that a win. Could make the SSD a Samsung 850evo and get a bit closer to the original performance. I didn't squeeze every penny out to reach that setup either if you're dead set on a 960evo I can probably fit a 1080/7700k/960evo in your budget

That definitely makes sense. why the change in RAM? And would the 650 be more than enough power or should i look into the 750W market?
