So I'm going from an AMD FX-6300 to an I5-7600k with a b250 board and ddr4 ram. Plus I've thrown in a new power supply (explained below).
Some background info: Computer has had freezing problems since I built it 2 years ago and I could never figure out what it was. Narrowed it down to the cpu, mobo, or psu. I added this information to explain why I've thrown a new power supply into the mix.
So basically, I'm just looking for any feedback. Basically some reassurance that I'm spending my money somewhat wisely. Also I know you can't overclock with b250 boards. That doesn't bother me.
Update: Found a 450w PSU for $25. Not sure if 450w is enough to power my rig though.
