I am thinking of getting a i5 3570k but I'm looking to lower the CPU for something almost the same but cheaper. I also need a website that helps with motherboards, cases, and power supply. Any suggestions?
Helps with them? I don't understand, do you mean one that can help you pick out parts? If you're going to lower that CPU, get the 3550 or if that's still too pricey the 2500. Use www.pcpartpicker.com to see what parts are compatible and it can be good for finding new parts as well as google 😛 Just google your specs and look at benchmarks.
Good luck with the build.
Look round the internet for the specs of a pc that you might want to build, theres plenty of forum threads and reviews of everything.
Good web pages are:
www.newegg.com/
www.amazon.co.uk/
www.overclockers.co.uk/
www.pcpartpicker.com/
Check out new reviews on TomsHardware, Overclockers.net and LinusTechTips or NCIX is quite a good channel on youtube if you want to see what anything looks like or how it benchmarks compared to anything else on the market.
The FX 8350 is AMD's flagship gaming CPU. It performs very similar to Intel's i5-3570k, besides a few exceptions, is very overclockable, and is cheaper than the i5. I just finished a build with one and I have absolutely 0 complaints.
