Specs;

Crucial Ballistix Sport LT (2 x 8 GB) DDR4 3133MHz OC (CL16)
WD 2 TB HDD & Crucial BX500 480GB SSD

Sig space specs can and will change over time and when that happens this thread and subsequent suggestions might end up moot to the user in the same boat as you're in now. I've added the specs to the thread's initial post for the sake of relevance.

So long as you've got the latest BIOS version for your motherboard, you're free to drop in pretty much any Ryzen AM4 socket CPU under the sun. If you can find them at a good price, perhaps consider a 5800X3D...? You didn't mention your budget for the upgrade, nor your location/preferred site for purchase. Please add them.

Crucial Ballistix Sport LT (2 x 8 GB) DDR4 3133MHz OC (CL16)
Did the ram come that way or is that the highest frequency you can get them to? On second thoughts, BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time?

My bad and according to my motherboard they don't have a bios update for the 5000 series

And I'm from the USA whatever is the cheapest price online but I'll go with $600 budget maybe less

And of course I know this will be obsolete in like a year or 2 I've just been so out of the tech game and don't feel like relearning everything right now ya know?
