[SOLVED] Looking for help deciding on new monitor

Hi, looking for advice with upgrading monitor to use with new setup with RTX3080.

Ive narrowed it down to two LG's monitors a
34GP950G-B 3440x1440 NANO IPS 144Hz 1ms G-Sync Ultimate Curved UltraWide Gaming Monitor
or

38GN950-B 38" 3840x1600 NANO IPS FreeSync G-Sync Compatible 160Hz 1ms HDR 600 Curved Gaming Monitor

so the only differences I can tell aside from the screen size/resolutions are the GP950 has G-sync ultimate vs the GN950's G-sync 'compatible' and 160hz vs 144hz

The biggest question Is - would a 3080 be powerful enough to run 3840x1600 and ultra settings with a respectable 80+ fps and Is the G-sync ultimate worth maybe going with the smaller screen?

Also I do have a concern that when I play on the 4k TV it pushes my GPU temps upto around 90C with ultra, and since 3840x1600 is not far off 4k would gaming for extended peroids of high GPU temps kill the graphics card faster?

Stick with this more of a normal resolution.
