Looking to make my own gaming pc not to tech savy anymore so I need helping putting one together I have about 600 at max to spend I want a build I can buy an use now an change an make better later. any ideas would be great.

computer always run far better off a 2x4GB setup rather than a 1x8GB setup, there will be a drop in performance if you get the 8GB stick but it wont be massive.

well I got the 1x8 8gb cuz no one replyed looks like ill use that until I can get another 8 an just run 16gb then ill never have to worry bout it. I will be live streaming to so wont 16 work better then 8

Sorry about the long replies I have been out of town on business :) but if you got the 8Gb stick that's fine and as you said get another 8GB when money allows and you will be fine :)

Nope I use windows 10 Home edition on my computer because I don't need any of the functionality that pro provides most people just use the Home edition.

oh you will need 64Bit as your system is over 2GB of ram if you have a 32bit system the OS wont use anything more than 2GB as you will be going for 16GB of Ram in the end 64bit is needed and an OEM version of windows means that when installed its tied to the motherboard rather than the HDD meaning that if you upgrade the Motherboard you will need to phone Microsoft to change which motherboard that licence is registered to and they do have the right to refuse to do that.

so how do I go about putting it on a usb drive or I do have a old cd drive in a shitty dell computer cd drive any chance I can use that disc drive just to install it on my system then ether leave it or take it out. from what i remember u could just hook up any cd drive an it would work.

Yeah Cd drivers are generic connections so you will be able to reuse this in any system that you build without a problem, just use your old CD drive and install it with your CD

sounds like fun to me:) tom's hardware does have an amazing guide on how to build a computer its really in-depth and a good help for noobies when building.
