So I just bought a new custom built pc that has this motherboard: gigabyte ga-78lmt-usb3, right my question is.. Every time I start this thing or restart or even power on after shutting down I'm constantly having to press the reset button on the pc about 15 times before windows will start. And most times it gets stuck on the gigabyte screen that displays bios etc.. Just want to know if this is hardware, software fault? Any help will be much appreciated.

Just for clarification my specs...

X11 advanced x-station
AMD FX 4170-4.2GHz Quad-Core
Gigabyte ga-78lmt-usb3
Radeon HD 7750 4GB 800MHz
16GB DDR3 Ram
1TB HDD 7200Rpm
500w Psu
Windows 7 64Bit Home Prem.

P.S: Btw when I'm on it. It runs like a dream, fast & powerful. And the graphics on most games run at ultra with out lag. So it's just the start up problem. Which is kinda important lol.

Thank you for your reply. Erm I know what your saying but in terms of this MB I would have a clue on how to do that. Could you possibly give directions?

Tried resetting CMOS, to no avail, removed battery.. To no avail.. Removed graphics card.. To no avail.. Removed HDD to no avail... Removed all USB sources.. To no avail.. Removed cleaned and moved about the ram.. To no avail. So no avail.... It's still taking me 1-2 hours trying just to access windows... It's really freakin annoying. And Ive contacted the company whom sold me it. And there suddenly not there now there's a problem with it. If anyone has a solution you'll be put on my don't kill list when I take over the world....

I got the same problem (not starting every time), and tried flashing the bios from f2 to f4. which doesnt work, nether via the bios tool nor via the windows tool. it just says: bios flash failed.

maybe the mobo has a defect?
