Yep you can do that easily. the ones I use most of the time are plugable ud-3900 though it will set you back $90 or about.. but that allows you to run 2 monitors from itself.
you can also go cheaper if you have a compatible computer to just add 1 HDMI port for cheaper

OH and both are like max of 1080P monitors at 60hz.. so if you have a ultawide (or 4K) you want to drive you have to get an different adapter that is closer to $150 top $200
