I'm still confused by what you're saying about trim though. I understand trim doesn't work in RAID, but the built in Garbage Collection on the Vertex drives are a different system independant of the trim function as I understand it and will do the job as well.

I am clearly saying TRIM isn't supported by either Intel RST or RSTE in RAID yet. Here's an interesting thread ** - http://www.station-drivers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=3910&start=19

**Note I can run ATTO or AS SSD or CDM or whatever and every single time have different results then to cherry-pick the worst & best to make a statement is VERY misleading.
