Looking for Motherboard for Dell Precision 670

Good day all,

I would like to get some advice on where i can get a motherboard for my Dell Precision 670. These are some of the specs that I have from Dell:

PROCESSOR, 80546K, 2.8G, 1M, XEON NOCONA, 800, E0
DUAL IN-LINE MEMORY MODULE, 512, 400M, 32X72, 8, 240, 2RX8

I wouldn't waste money rebuilding that; IMO its way to old. You're likely to only find used overpriced boards such as these:

Can I use any one of them or is there a specific one that you would recommend?

I would look for an identical board as to what you have that way there wont be driver conflicts with the new board. Unless you're looking for some different features.

If you're doing a total re-install then any board that fits should work.

and it may be that the dell uses a proprietary layout, look at where the backplane is, which means you can only use the same type of board.

You might want to take a good look at your board and visually compare if you cant find a dell/manufacturers part# on it.
