Looking for new gpu

So christmas is coming and i'm hoping to get a new gpu. Current specs are

i5 4460 3.2 GHz
Kingston ssd now kc300
2×500 gb hdd
8gb ram ddr3
Asus b85 mg

I know mobo is old and maybe cannot support newer gen gpus, if that is the case should i change mobo too?

Mostly play overwatch and csgo and other fps.

I suggest the GTX 1050 ti. That's what I am currently using. What PCI express x16 is it? 2 or 3. If 2 then upgrade your motherboard.

Nah, the RX 470, 480 or 1060 even is a better choice.
OP what is your budget?
PCIE 2.0/3.0 won't matter regardless, an x8 slot doesn't even bottleneck a 1080.

Depends on the budget, like me I'm on a very tight budget so I got the 1050 ti

Now that the Nvidia gtx 1070 is under $380, its the hands down performance per dollar winner.

If going for a higher end GPU you might need to consider upgrading your PSU as well

Hmm after checking with my friends for awhile they recommended i take the gtx 1060 and also upgrade my psu to a corsair cx 550M. My budget is 400 usd. You guys have any recommendations for other psu?
