Will i have enough wattage for a GTX 1070? Should i change the PSU to a more reliable brand? Im considering buying a 700w.

My PC Specs
CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.80GHZ 6-Core with stock fan
HDD: 1 TB 7200RPM Hard Drive
Ram: 8GB DDR3
Optical Drive: 24X DVD ±RW
Operating System: Genuine Windows Professional 10 64-bit
GPU: GTX750 TI 2GB Video Card
Ports: 6 x USB 2.0 | 2 x USB 3.0 | 1 x HDMI | 1 x DVI | 1 x D-Port
PSU: 500w Thermaltake
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 with AMD 760G/SB710 microATX Motherboard - Socket AM3+

I don't plan to ever overclock. But I do plan to change the motherboard and upgrade the cpu.

That doesn't really answer my question about the PSU. I am aware of the bottleneck. I don't plan to upgrade the CPU until i see what AMD has to offer with ZEN.

You probably have just enough wattage, but I wouldn't really trust a Thermaltake PSU. Look at a 750W range Corsair (Not CX series) or Seasonic. Refer to the Power Supply tier list.

I don't have the exact name because i came pre-installed but it has the exact same stats as the "Thermaltake Smart Series 500W SLI/CrossFire Ready Continuous Power ATX 12V V2.3 / EPS 12V 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply Haswell Ready PS-SPD-0500NPCWUS-W" on amazon
