Hi
can someone please recommend to me a 450 wt PSU capable of running XFX radeon 5770 with a PCIE connector cable and be compatible with a Dell Inspiron 530 tower(not the slim). Thanks.

Honestly , I am not an expert but I really doubt that PSU's come with 6-pin, I had to get a new Mobo, and reuse, CPU, DVD-drive, HDD and the case because my case was a low profile. I had to spend some money but in the end its worth it, you get a great system that was basically made by you and it feels good.

For that you have specifically check the pin connectors, hopefully you have a 20+4 connector in the mobo, if so your good to get any quality PSU from Antec, Corsair or Seasonic. I had an HP and it had a 6-pin connector replacing the 20-4 which is standard for most commercial PSU.

thanks for replying. will it matter if the mobo has a 6 pin? Will that restrict me from getting any good psus for the 5770 im trying to run? just checking. I do not actually know what my 530 has(most likely a 20+4 being a pretty old computer.) thanks!

Thanks I found out. The psu does not come with a 6 pin so I will be buying a brand new psu that does come with one for the 5770. Thanks for your answers, really appreciated! :)
