I'm currently using a BenQ 2430T as my main monitor, and I'm looking to get a secondary monitor (either 4k or 21:9 @60hz). I will be gaming on the BenQ and multitasking on the secondary monitor. I've tried the LG 34UM58 before and it didn't work out for me.
Will the two monitors be compatible with each other at because they have different refresh rates? I don't want my 144hz monitor to go down to 60hz or something because the monitors aren't compatible.
I currently have an overclocked 1070 for my graphics card, but I have no intention on gaming at anything higher than 1920x1080.
tldr: I want a monitor under $400 that is compatible with my 144hz monitor and is either 4k or 21:9 (don't care about refresh rate or response time). Also I don't need gsync or a curved monitor.
