r9 270, 270x, r9 280 (if you can grab it cheap) or 750ti if your psu cant handle an of those

GTX750Ti would be the best option that would easily fall within your price range, depending on prices where you are, you might be able to get an R9 280 if you're lucky but the 750Ti is a great option and reliable card! Hope this helps

r9 270 is much better than a 750ti, unless you have a crap psu. The r9 270 can be overclocked to performance of r9 270x easy as they are essentially identical chipsets.

The r9 270 easily wins. The GTX 750ti uses about 50w less under load though. I think the extra performance is worth it to get a r9 270. 😉
