Looking for the most powerful computer under $375

Is the dell precision m4500 still powerful in 2014? It costs around $375 for those specs. Thoughts?
(quad core i7 1st gen extreme 8gb 1 gb Nvidia FX1800).

My current computer: 4gb ram, core i3 2nd gen, integrated graphics.

Are there other computers that are more powerful for that much? Also could the dell precision m4500 run battlefield 3 or 4 for example?

Powerful isn't a word that should be used to describe a sub $400 laptop.

The fx1800 is a workstation card. Not a gaming card.

Put the laptop's specs into http://www.game-debate.com/games/index.php?g_id=1164&game=Battlefield%203 and see how it would run BF3

I wouldn't want to play BF3 or BF4 on a $400 laptop.

You're looking at a low-end APU or an Intel iGPU.

I ran Torchlight 2 which is not very demanding on an i5-4670K using the integrated graphics. It actually ran okay but judging by how it ran I don't think more demanding games would be very fun.

That uses the HD4600 iGPU and it runs at 1.2GHz (GPU not CPU). Not sure if it would run that fast on a laptop.

Uses the A8-6410 APU so try to Google that but I doubt you'll find a better "gaming" laptop for $400.

The above is at 1366x768. You'd want to experiment to find the optimal combination of both resolution and game settings (AA shadows etc).

Thanks, but do you know the graphics card for that computer? All it says is AMD Radeon R5, what model of R5 is it?

Its not a graphics card. Its 'integrated' graphics - part of the CPU.
