Hello all!

I have a 500 gb ssd and a two terabyte disk drive on my computer. I'm looking to also add an m.2 ssd for video editing but I'd like to add more hard drives to my rig. Unfortunately, my computer case seems to only have two slots for hard drives. Is there any sort of bay or rack I can mount into my case to add more storage?

My motherboard is an MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Edge AC LGA1151

And I have a thermaltake Core V51 Case

Please show us a screencap of your current Disk Management window.

There are potentially multiple ways to do this.

If you opt for an NVMe drive, it would just plug into your motherboard and you would not need to spare a drive bay.
if adding a 14TB HDD solves your problem, there is a great deal going on...

you can shuck it. It has a helium filled CMR drive in it. Very sweet.

Whoa 14Tb, that would certainly be great, dont know where your going to get the content to fill it, but nice surely.

What case do you have really hard to say without knowing that.

it is a messy solution but you can make this extention cable coming out of your case as many as your remaining SATA ports and connect to your HDD's externally. Again, it will look very messy. I have 2 of these sticking out of my computer 😀😀

I couldn't mount two of the bays you linked onto the bottom of my case? Like I said somewhere above I don't have the original bay tower that was included cause I don't think Fry's gave it to me after they built my PC.

maybe you can temporarily take your one of your 5.25 device and see if the lower mounts are 5.25 standard. If they are, you got your extra internal 5.25 bays. I think there are good chance. My "AZZA" case is similar system, just oriented differently, and those are all internal 5.25 bays without HDD cages.

Without getting into mounting brackets you have 2 m.2 slots.
So you would have 2 sata disk and 2 nvme disk.
Is 4 disk enough?
