Hello all!

I have a 500 gb ssd and a two terabyte disk drive on my computer. I'm looking to also add an m.2 ssd for video editing but I'd like to add more hard drives to my rig. Unfortunately, my computer case seems to only have two slots for hard drives. Is there any sort of bay or rack I can mount into my case to add more storage?

My motherboard is an MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Edge AC LGA1151

And I have a thermaltake Core V51 Case

maybe you can temporarily take your one of your 5.25 device and see if the lower mounts are 5.25 standard. If they are, you got your extra internal 5.25 bays. I think there are good chance. My "AZZA" case is similar system, just oriented differently, and those are all internal 5.25 bays without HDD cages.
I feel really silly for asking this but...what do you mean?

you said you don't have those HDD cages. The bays that takes HDD cages are likely 5.25 bays (just like the bays you are using for USB hub). I suggested temporary take your 5.25 USB hub and see if you can fit there. If it does you can use 5.25 to 3.5 adapters to mount HDDs
And in a 5.25 or 3.5" mount, you can fit in 2x 2.5" SATA III SSD.
So possibly 4 or more physical drives.

Given the availability of 16-18TB HDD, or 8TB SSD...
How much do you actually need...😉
Well, that depends on how easy it is to transfer internal hard drive data. I would ideally like to use my 500 GB ssd for my OS and the adobe suite. A 2 TB m.2 for gaming and a data cache for the adobe suite when I'm not editing off an external bay. My 2 TB HDD that's already in my computer and then either a second m.2 or another SSD/HDD drive as extra storage cause games are getting bigger.

Steam games are easy to move between drives.
Personal data...your project files, also easy to move. Thats a simple copy/paste.
