Looking to do a custom build for WoW Legion over the next few months. After all the readings I'm don't want a store built pc. I want to spend around $1300 and looking to run WoW as best I can. I know new video cards have come out after Legion was released. I have a list someone put together, looking for other ideas. Thank you

Here's a prime example:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1XyJzx4oU0

This guy is running at render scale at 200% (double the resolution of 1080p) and is still able to get around 100fps for the most part in Legion zones. 30min. Lower the render scale to 100% (actual 1080p) you are looking at 60fps+ constant easily even at preset 10. As shown in the video.

1050 is like 12% slower. Lower the quality a small amount and you can still run 60+fps easily.

No one needs more than a 1050 Ti for WoW at 1080p, save for 144Hz.

You can all stop suggest more powerful cards now for a machine that will ONLY be used to play WoW at 1080p.

Still without knowing the requirements for BoA I would spend a bit more on GPU if you can. The GTX 1060 3gb I linked is only $20 more than your 1050ti. I wouldn't wait around on it though. Honestly for WoW, and only WoW, the 8530k isn't a horrible idea either. I only recommend more than that for people looking to do more than just WoW, like streamers and multitaskers. As this particular user is not needing/wanting more, then the 8350k makes sense.

Ok should I spend the extra $20 for the 1060? Lol. This looks great and I appreciate the logic behind it. I'm going to give this a few more days to knock around before I start buying. Anything else I might need? DVD ROM? I also like that 27" monitor you listed with the Epick's first 1080p setup.
