Looking to Buy a 4GB DDR3 Ram

Hi,

I Am planning to buy a Corsair Vengeance 4 GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM with a CAS latency of 9-9-9 for my ASrock G41M-VS3 Motherboard for future proofing as I'll be buying a new Mobo anytime soon. Will it work as 1333 MHz RAm coz G41 supports 1333+OC.

It will work. RAM will decrease it's frequency to 1333MHz.

Not that that will futureproof anything but it will be a pretty good upgrade. You can either try and OC the 1333 to 1600 MHz or you can let it all run at 1333. Your call.

Hey Guys,

The 4GB stick doesn't seem to work. Whenever I put it in the display doesn't show. Tried putting it with my existing RAM and without it. Same result. Please Help.
