So I've heard a lot of people say cloning Windows 10 OS onto these samsung evo's creates a problem where the BIOS either cant detect the SSD or it doesn't recognize it as a boot drive. What's the best way of going about cloning everything over?
I currently have macrium reflect installed in preperation. I'm not using a USB adapter, just hooking it up to the MOBO.
Gateway DX4860
-I cant find the rest of the model number anywhere in the settings or on the console, I'm assuming it's a DX4860-UR21P with an Intel H67 Express but I could be wrong.
Definitely know:
-Intel i7 2600 3.4 GHz
-250W standard power supply
-Upgraded 16 gb Corsair Vengeance RAM 1600
-Intel graphics card
-1tb random laptop hard drive I got from my friend (hence why I want to switch everything over, other than speed)
--There is only 150 gb of data to. move to the SSD
I might have left out some information so just let me know if you need to know anything else.
