I was wondering if any one could give me some advice on my first gaming pc I'm gamer and have been all my life but usually always on console I thought now we be a good time to switch to pc but I need to some advice if I should by a prebulit rig or build my own I have a budget of $900 AU (Australian dollars) and I already have 2 monitors keyboard and mouse, I don't need anything ridiculous

i would rather not downgrade the ram...u can go with this nvidia card...

What I meant was the parts for the new processors will be more expensive, such as the motherboard. I'm not sure, but that's what I'm expecting
 
For intel there wont be much difference if at all, because the socket architecture still remains LGA1151, which means same DDR4 compatibility in terms of motherboard and ram.
For AMD ofcourse since they are launching DDR4 compatible chips, everything will be newly priced.
 


Ah, thank you. You have taught me something new, didn't realise Intel was going to be using the same socket.
