Evening everyone, I recently started working (woo!) and am looking to improve my PC a bit, mainly for gaming porpuses. Here's my specs:

Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5700 @ 3.00GHz
Intel(R) G41 Express Chipset (The pain)
2.1 Ram
Microsoft Windows 7 SP1, 32Bit

I'm not really looking to play super new games, mostly 2010 and before stuff. I value good performance over looks, but I also want some nice graphics.

Any other information you guys need I'll be happy to provide, thanks in advance!

Your rig can handle it but 610 is crap like 5450hd it is actually renamed 520 hence get atleast gt 730 or amd r7 250 or equivalent and ur rig can handle them also but u must make ur ram atleast 4gb :)
For budget choice and old games just put 4 GB ram and 6670 HD or gt730 in it as Pentium dual core works fine with it. Or else u can get a good fm2 mobo and amd apu a10 7850k with top end ram and play those old games on r7 7850k which comes integrated with that apu and for more performance u can also crossfire that 7850 k with other amd discrete gpus.🙂

fm2 and fm2 + socket motherboards support amd apus out of which a10 7850 k is top end now (apu = cpu+ gpu ) it comes with integrated r7 7850k which is weak than discrete gpus as it uses system's ram and cpu hence faster the ram faster the perf of r7 7850k so to play 2010 games on med to high to ultra this build is fine also if u wish u can add only amd gpus (discrete ) to ur rig and crossfire them with r7 7850 k for more perf but not all are supported for crossfires. This was second option I posted previously.

I see. Well, at the moment I'm looking at adding 2GBs of RAM. As for the graphics card I was checking out a EVGA GeForce GT 610 2GBs, but I'm not sure if my rig could handle it
