Looking to increase the connection to my network

Here's the problem, I'm loosing connection with my router inside and outside my house while I'm using my cellphone. Verizon Vios has had me change channels. That hasn't helped either. I do see the same network names pop up from my neighbors asking me to join their network. Even the ones across the street from us. This really burns my butt.

No we have Verizon Vios

The question that @popatim asked was what router hardware do you have for Verizon FIOS? There are several brands that FIOS uses.
