Looking to Paint a Dust Filter

Im not savy on paint or on making hardware changes, but I have a white phanteks enthoo case, but the magnetic dust filter on the top is black. If I either plasty dip or spray paint the dust filter white, would it remove the magnetic force from the filter?

While the paint coat between magnet and metal may weaken the magnetic suction tiny bit, it isn't enough to demagnetize a magnet. In fact, there are only a handful of options on how to demagnetize a magnet. Further reading,
