This is what is weird to me on the drives for a gaming PC.
M2 = 2TB WD Black SN850X M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD - 7300MB/s Read & 6600MB/s Write Single Drive
M2nd = 2TB (1x2TB) WD Black SN770 M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD - 5150MB/s Read & 4850MB/s Write Single Drive
SSD = 2TB Samsung 870 QVO 2.5" SSD - 560MB/s Read / 530MB/s Write 1 Drive
HDD = 4TB Seagate BarraCuda SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 5400RPM Hard Drive 1 Drive

How much drive space do you think you need? In general I would use a 500GB drive OS and programs then get a 4TB SSD for the games, that is a ton of storage. Even get a 2TB and start with you can always add extra drives. 2TB is enough for about 20 of the top 3 AAA games that can take up to or a bit over 100GB.

For the games the M.2 drive is not going to show any noticeable difference than a good SATA SSD, you might get a 0.5 second load/cut screen difference.

For the HDD what are you even going to use it for?

A bit smaller screen so your call,
Gotcha! Thank you!
So at this current point in time, I’m deciding between
I7 13700k
I9 13900k
Ryzen 7800x3d
*which ever I will go for I’ll be running a Corsair icue h150 360mm aio*
And which of the 4090s to go with
Between
Msi GeForce rtx 4090 gaming x trio
And msi GeForce rtx 4090 suprim
Then I’d like to know wether I should go 32gb ddr5 6000mhz or 64gb ddr5 5600mhz
The last thing after that is storage wise, but I’m thinking 2 2tb we black nvme, a 2tb ssd, and a 4tb hdd the drives are all for games, my current system has about 6tb ish, but I’m not wanting to move the drives over, so instead wanted to make sure I have plenty to begin with

See my above post on the drives.

I would get the 13700K if I was buying it.

I really like the MSI cards for the green team, not much difference in either listed.

For the memory unless your running a bunch of stuff on the side (hard to do with one monitor) 32GB is fine never seen anybody get close to 32GB gaming even with mods and background programs.

Okay I gotcha! The other reason with the drive, I heard that the Samsung qvc drives slow down to hdd speed when the cache ran out, so I didn’t want to put a huge one in the system to find out it ends up slow as heck, but I could be wrong that’s why I’m here :)
