looking to upgarde my system and would like some input please

my spec at this moment in time is as

Corsair 750watt PSU
Asus M5A97 Pro R 2.0
16GB ddr3 Corsair Vengeance 4x4gb 1600Mhz 9-9-924
AMD Phenom X4 964 not overclocked 3.4Ghz
1Tb Hitachi SATA drive
2Tb seagate SATA drive
Samsung IDE 22x DVDRW
the Case is a Zalman and i have all 4 fans connected
Asus HD6670 graphics card

i was looking to use about £160 to upgrade one or 2 things but not sure what would be the best things to change

lately i have been gaming a lot on the pc and havnt ran into any games the computer wont play fine

i was thinking of going 8 cores or soild state but not 2 sure what to do really so help will be thanked

Going for an SSD is going to be more noticeable than going for an 8 core.

ive been holding out on getting a SSD due to the price per GB but never really thought about the read/write speeds or how long they would last

Normally for gaming, the graphics card is all important.
The 6670 is not a very strong card. But... you seem to be doing well with it.
For gaming, I would get a much stronger graphics card. It will let you use more eye candy or higher resolutions.

But... one of the most satisfying pc upgrades in general is a SSD for the "C" drive. Look for a Samsung evo. 120gb at least.
SSD endurance is not an issue in a desktop environment. After 10 years, it will be long obsolete.
