Question Looking to upgrade CPU, would this be good?

Would this be a good upgrade?

Potentially. Depends what you are doing with it.

RTX 3060 for 3440x1440 would seem to be the limit for gaming here. 5700X3D will raise the maximum potential FPS, but only if your GPU can keep up.

Sure, that would improve overall performance.

Yeap, it would ofc be a worthwhile upgrade but you should make sure you're on the latest BIOS version for your motherboard before dropping that processor onto the socket. How are you currently cooling the processor?

That case might leave your components on the toasty side...just my observation.

I would say a faster graphics card would be a better upgrade, but that may mean you need to get a new PSU as well. The 5700X3D is a excellent upgrade to the 3600, but that may not increase FPS like you would assume with a 3060 at 3440x1440p resolution.
