Hey Guys.. So I'm looking to upgrade my GTX 760 2GB as it is just beginning to lack on many games and does not perform to my standards. I've been looking at the RX 480 but I dont know how expensive the aftermarket cards are going to be.. I'm looking to spend no more than 300$ and am only gaming at 1080p 60Hz.

Any ideas accepted thanks!

I would recommend the RX 480, BUT, don't get the stock card, its having a lot of problems especially with lower end motherboards, and power consumption. Usually the after market cards come out after a month or so of initial release, and won't cost more than $100 extra. Im assuming the aftermarket cards will be around 250-275 dollar mark. I would also recommend MSI and Gigabyte because the usually have the best custom pcb quality. But you never said anything about you overclocking, are you planning to?

Honestly not really I dont want to get into that for now but I do have a good mobo that isnt considered "low end"

if you wont overclock then get the rx 480. if you are going to learn how to overclock then get the gtx 970. OC GTX 970 > OC RX 480

The thing is I want to buy relatively soon.. how long does it usually take for the aftermarket card to hit the stores and such.

480 is a good choice. But I agree definitely get a partner made card. Sapphire are one of the best AMD partners. I've read partner cards will start appearing from the 10th onwards but it may be a bit longer than that.
