What i'm looking fpr
I'm looking to upgrade my CPU. I'm planning to do some streaming of League of Legends probably as my only game. I can currently stream at 720p@30fps, however, my temperatures are reaching 64-65 degrees during this (probably because of the dual core) and in general, I'd also like to have better cooling, as I currently only have the Intel stock cooler which is attached by 3 pins (the fourth pin broke off when I was applying new thermal paste, so it isn't cooling as well as it should be). I'm only looking to replace my CPU, however, if it is worth it, I may be willing to upgrade the motherboard as well.
Suggestions i've currently received
I've received the suggestions of purchasing an i5-6500 and i5-6600k both of which are in my budget range and I wouldn't have to purchase a new motherboard with either of them.
I have also received suggestions of purchasing an i3-8100, as well as an i3-8500, however, with both of these, I would need to get a new motherboard, and also, one person said that upgrading to the i3-8100 wouldn't be much of an upgrade, and it would be more of a sidegrade.
I have also received the suggestion of getting an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3.4GHz 6 core processor along with the GIGABYTE GA-AB350 motherboard, which would cost me 218 pounds.
Budget and country of purchase
My budget is around 200 pounds, and I'd be buying in the UK.
Thanks
