Looking to upgrade my current system

I'm thinking of overclocking the CPU (FX-6300) and grabbing another 270 to X-fire it with my current card. I'll prob. be watercooling since I am unable to fit in aftermarket coolers. Plus. I'll prob. be needing more powerful PSU. The only problem I've noticed is the motherboard? I was just looking at it and there is no way I can fix two of those cards on the PCI 2x slots. Can someone give it a look to see if it can be done? I don't want to go ahead and look into getting another motherboard because then I might as well build a new system which I don't want to do because I don't want to keep perfectly good working parts just laying around.

Anyways, have a look and let me know if it can be done. Thanks!

Yeah? Think overclocking alone will be enough to keep me afloat with the newer games coming out? Like the Witcher 3 and the such? I tried Dying Light and the game/system nearly crashed when I made it out of the building into the open world. Suppose it would work if I were to lower the settings but that's no fun.

Yep. The main reason why I told you to OC is because the reason AMD is behind Intel is because of the photolithography, by 10nm. Which can be quite a bit, evident by the difference of performance at different clock speed. The hefty 1.5 Ghz difference can make up the difference and probably could also beat out the i7-5820K by 5%.

And for the instability, have you bumped the voltage yet?

Nope, never really looked into overclocking. Haven't had the need to. Suppose I could give it a try but I'd need to get my hands on the water cooling first. Any suggestions?

For the price difference it costs to build an AMD platform from an Intel you can just beef up all the other components. I run an FX-8320 E and its never given me a single issue. The 300 more you pay for a Intel of that power ability you can buy a great liquid cooler, better RAM and better MB. So now for the same price as a base Intel build I have a good motherboard and CPU, 16 GB of DDR3-1866 or higher and my system stays cool while I OC during high end gaming. If you prefer Intel and have the money to do the same with an Intel CPU then clearly thats the route to go I just think its just as good to go with the AMD that you have with some great hardware to back it.
