Hello, came here looking for people with experience with the new 4k hdr projectors on the market. after lots of research looking over projector in a budget range of $1k-$2k for the best quality projectors I seem to keep going to the new Optoma UHD50X as being a great gaming option that does not sacrifice picture quality. does anyone have experience with this projector and similar quality picture projectors like the benq ht3550 that can say how the picture holds up on the 50x?

Things I've been weighing is Id like low input lag without sacrificing too much image quality in fact i would probably prefer image quality in most cases but primarily going to use this projector to watch movies and to game rather frequently. If anyone has experience with projectors in the 1k to 2k price range for a good quality 4k hdr image please let me know how these projectors stack up. heres a list of the projectors I've been watching so far. Optoma UHD50X, Benq HT3550, Benq TK800, Optoma UHD60, a few of the Epsons and LG ones in that price range

How about BenQ TK800M with acceptable input lag, which also has great lumen output and accurate colors? If you're not a fan of FPS games, you may consider this one. Btw, it only costs $999 (from $1449) now on B&H, looks like a great deal.

If the input lag really matters to you, AFAIK, they also got a new model with only 8.3ms input lag called TH685. But it only has a 1080p native resolution.

ya the problem with the tk800m is the contrast ratio of that and color accuracy are nowhere near the optoma and epson models. after pouring many upon many hours of research into probably about 15 to 16 different models the Epson 3800 and 3200 models were a clear distinction in picture quality and with input lag of only 26ms much better than the other projectors. the 3200 happens to be on a $200 off sale for $1299 definitely appears to be the best bang for the buck and cant wait to see it when it gets here will see about posting some pictures when it does

I'm also looking for a gaming projector that can deliver a great picture with low noise. I've a bad experience with a noisy projector in the past so tried lot of DIY processes that time. Now I don't want to create any mess like that.

Was looking at this review and found Optoma UHL55 and X304M a perfect match for myself because these are awesome as per my requirements. Please advise over this, if you've further recommendations then you are most welcome. Thanks
