I am just wondering what the necessary upgrades to run 3 gtx 970's are? i want to be able to run them comfortably without worries and the price range doesnt matter. thanks :) (i would like the components that need upgrading to be reliable, trustworthy, and built to last)

The H97 chipset motherboard cannot run two graphics cards let alone 3

So if you want to run three cards [ a waste of time unless you have a HUGE resolution monitor
you will need to change to a top end Z97 board , a quality 1000 watt power supply , upgraded case cooling
and probably a new copy of windows if you are running win 7 from an oem manufacturer

Get a higher watt PSU; 1000w should do fine. I recommend this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438010. Also, you may want to look into getting a higher end z97 mobo because if you look into overclocking your CPU in the future, H97 doesn't overclock (I may be wrong, though). I also would recommend getting two 980's instead of three 970's. Triple SLI is poorly optimized; 2 980's would perform just as well, and you don't need that much VRAM unless you have a multi-monitor setup or 4k (in which 2 980's would be plenty).
