With the pc i'm working on right now with 8gb of ram,is the min 16mb and the max set to 8192mb,you can double that last setting if you want.
Don't know if doubling the size of ram will help since you still have 2gb left when gaming.If you want to double that just look for what you have and try to get the same ram.Look with cpu-z under the spd tab for more info about your ram,there should be a partnr.At least try to get the same maker,model,speed,timings and voltage.
Best thing woulkd to sell the current ram and buy a 16gb set.Lok for more info here,

You can open hwinfo32,after that open the sensor window by marking sensors only=V,
after that click run

next to the "Save Report" is a button "Sensors" as well so can open the sensor window there too.Download hwinfo32,

click run,
close the top window which is the system summary,
click save report at the left top,
in the next window at the bottom check=⓪ "short text report" after that next,you'll get to see what is in your pc
