I think i am right in saying that this site and pc gamer are run by the same people as i see the same moderators on both.
Pc gamer gets hit a lot by spammers and in recent days when i put my pc on at around 8 am uk time their is a lot of spam.
In recent days their has been up to 3 pages of spam.
Today i logged into pc gamer and their is no content at all , the only thing on screen is random gear cogs , circles with crosses in them and big question marks

i clicked on your link on how to mark a thread as solved but in the top right corner of your reply i dont see a tick next to #2 as shown in your example

That only applies in a Question and Answer thread, which is why it's not showing here. This wasn't made a Question thread. Additionally, I would like to clarify the current issues you are seeing were caused by an update rolled out to the sites erroneously which affected the theming / styling of the forums, it was not related to any hacking incident. We really appreciate you bringing it to our attention and are working to get everything back to normal as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience!
