Hello, been having some trouble with my PC for a few weeks now.

The problem is that the pc will randomly lose signal. When it does I hear the device connect audio like when you plug in a USB device. Sometimes the fans will go on full power at the same time. As soon as I reset though the fans stop and return to normal.

The computer is still running, audio still plays fine just no signal. HDMI replugging does nothing. Only way to fix is to restart pc. Signal returns immediately on restart. I use my cases reset button to do restart pc.

I have reinstalled windows to see if that would fix but no luck. All drivers are up to date. Done a general search around and tried Microsoft support with no luck.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Specs:
i7-5930k
64gb ram
gtx 2080ti

1 monitor connected straight to GPU via hdmi.

Thanks guys

Has the PC ever been opened up for cleanings and reseatings?

Could be a loose connection or card inside.

Are you able to monitor any system temperatures?

Motherboard? Make and model PSU (wattage)?

- These are the current temps and also shows the motherboard as well.

The PSU is a Corsair RM1000x (1000w)

PC had a new processor cooler as the old one failed about a year ago.

The GPU was switched from the GTX 1080 to the GTX 2080ti and cleaned out back in November.

I can continue to monitor the temps using speccy.

Will also check the card for loose connections.

Thanks
