Ok so my computer is a Biostar p4m900-m7 FE with an Intel Pentium D 940. I have 4 GB of DDR2 RAM, a 600w Thermatake Power Supply (its the TR2-600w) and I am currently having trouble installing the PNY GeForece GTX 650 by Nvidia.

What happens.
If the card is installed I cannot get video from either the onboard or GTX.

What I have tried.
1. changing CMOS to load the onboard instead of the PCI-e slot so that I could install drivers(no luck, same problem)

2. hooking up the power adapter (two three pins to a six pin) instead of hooking a 6 pin directly up to the gpu.

3. installing the drivers without the card in(will not allow without hardware installed)

4. Eating nachos and going to sleep(didn't really help but made me feel better)

your gpu is dead or the mobo has problems, try to get a very very cheap (second hand) gpu and try if it works. If it still doesn't work it's the mobo.

If the card is firmly in the slot and the power cable plugged in, you should be able to get a display. On some older motherboards, you have to go to BIOS and select/enable the PCIe slot manually. But it sounds like you tried that already. Did you remember to switch your monitor to DVI, HDMI, VGA, or whichever output the the card is using?
