I just bought the FSP HEXA + 500w.

My specs are:
CPU = I5 6600K
GPU = GTX 1060
Motherboard = Z170A Pro Carbon MSI

I was just asking, if there will be any issues with this "cheap" power supply. It has OCP, OVP and SCP protections. Can anyone help me thanks?

So you guys don't recommend overclocking? I AM SO HAPPY THAT I CAN USE IT. (WHAT ABOUT CURRENT ISSUES) THANKS

This PSU has max amp of 18, the GTX 1060 needs 20... Am I missing something?

Sorry for being an idiot. :D I guess I am set. I hope the PSU doesn't crash and destroy my equipment. If it was to fail will any of my components gets affected?

Hi sir just viewed your post here. I have the same situation as you right now. I've got pretty similar components as you except I'm running on Intel i5 6400 and I've got hexa+ 550w. Did you have any issues with power supply? Because I use it for long hours maybe 10-14 and I still didn't have problem but I'm afraid of the future and the health of other components.i was thinking to exchange it with Silverstone essential 500w 80 plus bronze or corsair Cx 550w

I have been using it for 2 months on 70 -100% GPU usage and no issues. However I do not recommend overclocking, but you could try. But, I have bought another power supply. If you could get the corsair Cx 550w then get it.
