Question Lost Original date of holiday movie?

Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this question but...........

I have moved a movie from onto the HDD of my new pc using an external HDD caddy - (old hdd was in my old pc -it crashed and burned but hdd was all readable).
Once I had moved it, I found the date of the file showing as 'date of transfer' instead of the 'created date'? .
How can I get the 'created date back, as it now does not reside or exist on my old HDD?
Any ideas how to get the original date back please? Software or something, looking at properties just shows the new date that I moved it.

file don't store history of created date.
there are 3rd party tool that can change created date. personally never use them before
