lost some space

Drive size and type.
Is this the OS drive?
What OS?
What were you doing when this space "disappeared"?

Install and run WinDirStat. Run as Administrator.

That drive usage going up and down might be just a function of running the game.

Have you run any antivirus and malware on it?
