Lost sound on laptop, out of the blue.

I have no sound from speakers or headphones. Drivers are good and enabled. Speakers not muted. No recent changes. The sound just stopped. How do I get it back? Panasonic CF-51 Win 7 32 bit.

If you check your hardware device manager, do you see something in there that says ACPI MAT0019? Possibly in unknown devices?

If you do, than your issue is with whatever recent update you did which didn't include the hotkeys driver. Asus had a similar problem with this at one point. I think Panasonic has been dealing with this issue for years, too. You'll have to manually install them. They should be easy to find out there through Google.

Thank you for your response. I don't see any unknown devices or ACPI MAT0019 in the manager. My hotkey drivers are also current.
