I had this laptop for probably a couple years and every day I seem to get more frustrated in it with its gaming performance. It used to run Skyrim halfway decent and then it started to give this horrible intermittent lag (or maybe it was always there and it eventually drove me nuts). Then it was Minecraft. I used to play single player and I would overlook lag spikes but recently it seems worse. More games that never run smoothly are Dead Island Riptide, L4D2, and a couple other ones. I'm really sad because it was $600 and every where I turn I cannot find a solution. I tried soooo many different things. Since I have AMD graphics and processor, I tried RadeonPro, Raptr (or something like that), various tweaks in the CCC, and AMD OverDrive. I am going insane. I want to just pay someone to get a unsolder my CPU and replace it with something else. I'm pretty sure its my CPU because world loading for Minecraft and other games is very slow. Please help! -1.7ghz clock speed overclocked to 2.4ghz (I have a really good cooling pad that keeps all temperatures really cool)
