Hi
I bought this hard drive but there is a problem
its very loud while it works:pt1cable:
hdd link:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136767

I have tried that thing called AAM but hard drive doesnt support that
Its funny that my friend had that hard drive and he wasnt so loud in his computer

So is there anything that might downgrade his performance and make it quieter?
Or im just bad luck:??:

Hey there!

I'm sorry to hear about that, franjo-cro! I'd recommend you to test the WD Blue you bought with the Data LifeGuard Diagnostic utility for Windows and see what's the health and SMART status of the drive. Here's a link to the WD software, just make sure you run both the QUICK and the EXTENDED tests: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=NFO7Sz
Either way, the WD Blue is not supposed to be so loud, so I'd suggest you to check the placement of the HDD and make sure it's properly mounted inside your rig. If the issue persists, I'd strongly recommend you to get in touch with the reseller's customer support and ask for a replacement. @drtweak suggested the WD10EZEX model and I totally agree with him about it. It's one of our newer models and it also has more cache (64 MB), than the WD10EALX (32 MB cache).

Keep us posted. Hope this helps you! :)
