Loud High Pitch feedback noise when using Two quickcam mes..

Here's my problem, I would appreciate any feedback and will try
anything at this point. Logitech tech support wouldn't even talk to me
and told me to call MSN, terrible after pruchase service, I'm really
disappointed with Logitech.
I hooked up two Quickcam Messengers to two PCs I have in my house that
are at the extreme ends of the house. If I use either one to talk to a
friend (not using a quickcam messenger) it works perfectly, but a high
pitched screeching type sound will occur when the two quickcam
messengers that I have in my house are used to talk to eachother using
msn messenger. I confirmed that the same problem happens using Yahoo
Messenger.

Using a headset with a mic will solve the problem, but id like to be
able to use the mic from the quickcam and the sound from the
spakers..yes it's sad that two people in the same house are video
conferencing, but it's novelty and the fun will wear off , untilt hen
I want this to work and since I haven't tested it with another person
outside my house that also has a Quickcam Messenger, it's a
possibility it will also occur.

Just want to know if anyone has experienced similiar problems and has
been able to solve it without having to use a headset.

That's acoustic feedback.
Noting is broken or faulty on your equipment.
The fault us yours. You need to lover the volume on your
loudspeakers or/and mic volumes. The volumes are set to high!

Of course have your friend on the other side also to lover
the volume on his/her mic and speaker.
Don't pump up the volume! 🙂

Perhaps when you say something into your mic on machine A, it comes out of
the speakers on machine B, into the mic on machine B, out of the speakers on
A, in the mic on A and round and round. This is a classic feedback
problem, as already mentioned.

If you use a unidirectional mic pointed towards yourself AND away from your
speakers, you should have better luck.

As already mentioned, turning volumes down will help, your biggest problem
is that the sound from the speakers is above the threshold of the mic.
Either make the mic more directional, so that it doesn't pick up the sound
from the speakers, or lower the speaker volumes and/or the mic recording
level.
