I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas on a low budget pc? My desktop is basically worthless as a gaming pc and my laptop is okay but I'd really like a desktop to play on. I don't have the money to spend on the kind of desktop I really want to have. So I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on a good gaming pc that especially can play MMORPGS as I love Guild Wars 2 and WoW. I understand I'll probably not be able to play high end graphics stuff with with this but if I can at least play the majority of my games I'll be happy.

Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: When I have the money saved up but hopefully a few months

Budget Range: Low Budget definitely under $1,000 but I don't know how low is TOO low to go

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, video editing, school work (including some programming software I may get with upcoming classes but not sure for certain exactly what software I will use until I take the class)

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Parts to Upgrade: Everything since it’s a new build

Do you need to buy OS: No I get Windows 7 and 8 from my school
Please note that if you're using an OEM license of Windows, you will need a new one when buying a new motherboard.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: No preference

Location: Davenport, Iowa, United States

Parts Preferences: I’m not heavily into a specific brand just as long as the price is good compared to the performance

Overclocking: Maybe if it is doable

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe if it is doable

Your Monitor Resolution: I really would like 1080p res but it all depends what it would cost for the monitor

Additional Comments: I would like a quiet pc that is capable of playing a decent amount of games especially World of Warcraft, Guild Wars 2, Neverwinter, Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs and Starbound. I have too many games to list but that’s the gist of it. I also use Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD 11.0 for my video editing.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: My current desktop is mostly useless except to use it to print my school papers out. It can’t play any games and it really isn’t useful for my editing purposes. My laptop is okay but I’d like to actually sit down at my desk and be able to play games at a desktop pc.
