Hey guys, i recently saw my fps in Fortnite was so unstable so I checked my temps and saw that my gpu usage was 40% and cpu was chilling at 20-40%, I could not believe it because my laptop isn’t working at full power and that’s why my fps so unstable and I have some lags. I was trying to update graphics drivers to the lastest ones but it made it even worse, more fps drops and lags, I tried even contact ASUS and they said to reinstall Windows, which I did, but it didn’t work, so guys I am asking you for help, thank you for helping, have a good day/night!

Specs:
I9 13980HX
Rtx 4060 8GB
32GB RAM

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You might want to mention the model of your laptop. At this moment we could use more info apart from the laptop's maker. An SKU would help us two fold.

As for your predicament, you might want to see if your BIOS is pending an update. Once you've verified your BIOS is on the latest, update the OS. Following that, use DDU to remove all GPU drivers, then manually reinstall with the latest GPU driver sourced from Nvidia's support site, here, in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.
