Greetings! First time posting here. So recently I bought Assassin's Creed Unity on a sale on Steam and decided to play it. But to my surprise the game is unplayable.
Low fps around 5-10 , low CPU usage (in Nvidia Overlay, HWinfo64 and Task Manager) around 15-30%, the temperatures are at most 70C both GPU and CPU. I'm also using the latest Nvidia drivers.
I'm feeling lost. This is an old game and shouldn't bother my PC as much as it does. In fact I run Forza Horizon 5 on medium settings at 60 fps and Elden Ring at medium at around the same fps range.
AC Unity is on my SSD, because I feared this might've happened (it has happened with FH5 and Elden Ring, but got fixed when I put them on the SSD). And now that this is happening I am completely flabbergasted and in desperate need of help.
My PC specs are:
CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1230 V3
GPU: GTX 1060 3GB
RAM: 16 GB DDR3 1333mHz
Motherboard: GigaByte G1.Sniper (rev. 1.0)
PSU: Corsair CV650 - 650 Watt 80 Plus Bronze Certified
