Low csgo fps with Ryzen 7 and GTX 980

Hello, I recently bought a new configuration (everything except the gpu and ssd). My fps in a competitive is around 200-260 and when i play in a ffa server it's usually 110-130 but sometimes it drops under 100 and it feels awful. Sometimes there are a lot of drops for just a sec, for example from 180 to 90, etc. I am using AMD Ryzen 7 1700, GPU - GTX 980, 8 GB RAM (HyperX Fury DDR4), 60Hz monitor (Philips 244e, 16:9 Aspect Ratio). P.S. Playing on 4:3, everything low. Moreover, when i use FXAA (in cs go video setting) i have higher fps than when it's disabled. I changed the nvidia settings to performance and tried everything with the launch options.

Unless you go intel - they're the speed king - you probably won't get much more out of your current setup.

^This is why I asked about the ram mode. Also recommend against adding ram, but getting a new kit. Mixing ram, even if the timings and speeds are the same, MAY lead to system instability.

You'll probably want to get one of those 240hz monitors... as 60fps is all you're getting right now.
No, but you'll actually be seeing more than 60fps with it.
Fraps, or whatever program you use to monitor fps, shows what you are capable of getting. But your current monitor can't go higher than 60... so this entire time, 60fps is the highest that you've actually been seeing.

Is the ram running in single or dual channel mode, i.e., is it a single 8gb stick, or 2x 4gb sticks?

Yeah i understand the role of the monitor but when the fps drops i have great lags. In competitive it is around 300 and i don't have any problems there. But still the fps for this configuration has to be much higher. I'll try to overclock it these days and i hope that it will improve my gaming.
The ram is single channel. I'll buy one more soon and make it dual channel but i don't think that it will give me 200 fps boost.
