[SOLVED] Low FPS from disk space?

So the main game that I play is fortnite. Usually my FPS is pretty stable and consistent whilst playing but I had realized that whenever I download a game with a lot of gb of storage, after the game is installed my fps in fortnite is not consistent and stutters pretty badly. I downloaded GTA 5 on my pc and after installing it my fps stuttered so i uninstalled it and that fixed the problem.

I have 1 tb of storage and after installing gta 5 my storage still had over 500 gb left. I made sure no background apps from GTA 5 were still running when i closed it. Also i noticed this problem when i download rainbow six siege. My fps in fortnite would stutter due to downloading different games.

I'd wait a day after you installed a new game, make sure you reboot the system and then try the game. Just using disk space won't cause any issues with games unless your drive was totally filled.
