Low FPS Help

CPU: AMD A10-7870K (overclocked at 4.6Ghz)
GPU: Zotac GTX 1050 Mini OC
Ram: 8gb
Windows 10

Monitors' native resolution is 1440x900, playing CSGO at 1280x1024, and playing dota with automatic screen settings.

Am I supposed to be hitting 70 fps on CSGO and 40fps on Dota 2, or should I reach higher fps with this setup? Thanks in advance

Did you install the most up to date drivers for the gpu ?

Did you install the most up to date drivers for the gpu ?

yes I did, and this fps was here since I first installed the gpu and had the most up-to-date drivers

You may be limited by your cpu but just in case your not try changing the settings manually and disable stuff like AA and see if that helps. 40 fps in DOTA at that resolution with that gpu is kind of low.

I've also noticed my max gpu usage when playing CS and Dota 2 is only 2-3%

Try this, set the resolution to 1440x900 and set the rest of the settings to medium on both games, a 1050 should be able to handle that resolution with no problem at all in these games. Maybe a setting in there hogs up your cpu.

playing already on medium and on 1440x900. On dota, tried every setting, max I got was 50 during start till I get the minimum of 20. During clashes I get 10
